Dryer Vent Cleaning Benefits
A. FIRE SAFETY
The US Fire Administration reports that "Failure to Clean" is the leading factor
contributing to clothes dryer fires. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer
and/or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air,
cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire.
The Consumer Product Safety Committee recommends that your dryer vent ducts be cleaned periodically.
Additionally, we recommend that you do not run your dryer at night or when you are not home.
B. EFFICIENCY
Regularly cleaning your dryer and dryer vents will result in more
efficient operation of the dryer, therefore costing you less money to run your
dryer.
C. PROLONGED LIFETIME OF APPLIANCE
Cleaning your dryer and dryer vent on a regular basis will increase the lifetime of your dryer.
